Following observation of my X-ray: 1. Trechea in centre 2. Cardiothoracic ratio is normal 3. Bilateral hila prominence 4. Bilateral lung fields are clear 5. Bilateral costophrenic angles are clear I am not feeling any problem but want to ask what my report suggests?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Based on the chest x-ray report you have enclosed, the following things can be inferred. 1. Trachea should be in the centre and it is, hence it is normal. 2. Cardiothoracic ratio is normal. It means that the heart to lung ratio is normal and there is no indication of anatomical abnormalities in heart or lung. 3. Bilateral hilar prominence suggests vascular markings are seen as normally. 4. Bilateral lung fields are clear indicates that lungs does not have any lesion, which is normal. 5. Bilateral costophrenic angles are clear indicates that there is no collection of free fluid. Hence, from the above findings, chest x-ray report is normal and does not have any abnormalities. Hope the information provided would be helpful. Wish you good health.
